Important: If you’re upgrading, backup your current ODQMail.mdb file (found in the directory where you installed ODQMail) or you will lose your user POP3/SMTP settings.  Uninstall the previous version, and copy the file back to the installation directory after setup is complete.

Version 1.4.0 Available

January 21st, 2012 No comments

ODQMail allows you to create an Internet<->RF gateway, allowing users over the radio (via TNC) to access their email, check weather forecasts and callbook information, all with their favorite packet terminal software (paKet, PacTerm, KaGold, HostMaster).

ODQMail also allows (when enabled by the SysOp) access to the TNC via the internet or local LAN via Telnet (protected by username & password) or by using the free ODQMail Client GUI.  This allows you to share your equipment with licensed friends and family members so that they may get on packet radio without having to buy their own equipment.  Or to even set up your station for remote access by you only.

A special admin port is enabled so you can remote logoff, enable/disable system features, or to just check the system status.
